The 1st Conference in Advancements in the field of Sustainable Engineering will be hosted at Frederick University’s campus in Limassol.

Getting There

By Air
The city of Limassol, a coastal city, is served by both international airports on the island, Larnaca International Airport and Paphos International Airport with both being approximately 60km from the city.

Direct flights are available from major international destinations although the island is best connected with major Greek airports, such as Athens and Thessaloniki, with an average total of 20 flights per day.

By Public Transport
Both public and private bus services provide convenient transportation from both international airports into the city of Limassol.
Please note that bus services from Paphos are not as frequent during off-season periods.

Express Airport shuttle (http://enlimassolairportexpress.eu/) offers a shuttle service from Larnaca and Paphos airport. You may take the shuttle bus from the bus terminal (https://goo.gl/maps/RYMfKL7nFBG2). Starting/Ending point in Limassol in front of Saint George Havouzas Church at Christofi Ergatoudi Street. (link). From there you need to take a taxi to reach your hotel/meeting place.

From Larnaka Airport to Limassol
The cost is 10 euros each way.
Time to go: 42 Minutes to the base station in Limassol. From the Station to Meeting Area is 2   minutes by car.
From Paphos Airport:
The cost is 10 euros each way
Time to go: 41 Minutes base station in Limassol. From the Station to Meeting Area 2 minutes by car

By Car
Driving in Cyprus is considered one of the safest options, although if you consider renting a car, please note that the driving system on the island follows the same rules as the UK as people drive on the left-hand side, with the steering wheel being on the right-hand side of the vehicle. 

You can easily book and rent a vehicle for your time in Cyprus from all airports.
Pre-booking in advance is advised.

Accommodation

A variety of hotels are located nearby, catering to different budgets, as well as Airbnb properties.
